Can I sell my Sig 556R in MD now?

I have a 556R Gen 2 that I purchased prior to October 2013. It's a great gun and all I just haven't used it so I'm thinking about selling it to fund other stuff. Can I sell it in MD? I heard I may be able to if I remove the flash hider..

Yup.

Pull that dangerous thing of the end of the barrel. Then you can legally transfer it.

Yurp. I handled one that an IP had. Pretty sweet and pretty light. I was very tempted.

I have one I bought from High Rock. It really is a nice gun, hand guard rattles a bit but nothing that can't be fixed. I haven't shot mine in a while either, but this thread has given me the sudden urge to exercise it.

This is a bit off from the OP question, but does anybody here run their 556r suppressed? If so how do you like it and what suppressor are you using?
