I am in the construction industry.... have been since the 70's. You can find work in Florida. Too bad they don't pay you much. Hence, back to eating "real" blue crabs.

Well blue crabs are still one of our assets. Lots of family relocated to FLA 30 years ago and still swear by it, but they do always want to eat MD Crabs whenever they visit. They claim their crabs are boiled and no Old Bay to be found !

There's work in Maryland but you have a hell of time hold on to your money in this State.

It costs more to move from Maryland to Alabama than from Alabama to Maryland because you pay for the empty truck to drive back to Maryland.

Welcome "back" to where the only good thing to come out of Maryland is 95 South ! So what type of work is hard to find in Florida...besides snow removal. What is your vocation ?

We have a near 5 yr. old grandson and In-laws requiring TLC that are here. That and good pay. We still have a residence in the Tampa Bay area which is where we will go back to in 5-10 years. It is never hot there. Lots to do. Plenty of sun, fishing, food and female tourists in bikinis....

Alrhough there is work in FL, the pay is half of what it is in MD. My goal is to be back there in 10 years. Hopefully, one last time, saying goodbye to this socialist and progressive welfare state. I will come back to visit family and friends, but usually, it is them that visit me for a free vacation home.
