    That's interesting; I thought the newer Walthers were less likely to bite. I think any of the PP* variants are fine. I have not yet met a Walther I did not like, new or old. The only reason I have these is I was in Germany years ago and had the opportunity to buy them.
    I know this is old, and I’m sorry for the long delay, but, I wasn’t referring to slide bite. Rather, the edges of the beavertail were sharp, and after many rounds, cut into my hand.

    29-2 was the last one that was pinned, and recessed. Kinda nice and gives it a more finished look.
    They are the 6.5 inch models you are looking for.
    Fortunately for you the 29-2 was the longest production run so there are a bunch out there.
