I imagine they need not worry about that until they pass a law like the one the governor just vetoed regarding making people felons for not reporting their firearms missing/stolen in the allotted time. When a law like that goes into effect you know confiscation is coming soon.

Contrast this with, say, a vial of Sarin gas or a nuke—these're inherently dangerous items that ought not be in the hands of civilians. But since the precedent for infringing on Americans' rights to access NFA items was set in 1934 and it's now open season on Americans in Obamerica, how long 'til the Bolsheviks come for our penises in an effort "to protect soccer moms and their children" from the potential of rape?
