Cabelas Ammo price increase

OK everyone is complaining about people buying ammo and selling for a profit.
So, how would you do that if Cabelas is selling 9mm Ranger for 1.50 a round?
If these are the new "Norm" for retail prices we are all screwed.

72.99 a box for stuff SGAMMO sold 3 months ago for 28. Glad they limit me to 5 Boxes at this price!

Supply and demand.

It's very possible that the distributor or manufacturer that Cabela's buys from has raised it's prices as well.

It sucks, but the old adage of "you want to play, you have to pay" is becoming the norm.

I will not pay the new, inflated prices anywhere. If the prices stay up once availability is no longer an issue, I guess I will have no choice.

If you want the price to go down, then stop buying ammo.

It really is as simple as that.

If you really need ammo, then pay the $1.50 per round.

Own worst enemies.

Everyone wants to preach economics. Same people jacking up the price. That many people trying to quit their day jobs to be the middle middle man.

Buy if you need it.

If you don't, leave it for the next man.

Gun grab will be most successful by destroying the ammo supply. It is happening internally. I struggled shooting 100 rounds of 22 last trip.

I'm sure all our resident econ pros will chime in... Over looking stupid greed and a lack of foresight.

What needs to happen I'm seeing with 5.7. Prices topping $1.50 a round... Given the rarity of this caliber it is typically bought immediately. Now at those prices it stays around for weeks. Good to see.

Bass pro has redone backorders for some ammo by substituting brands and limiting wuanity.

I like the idea of getting the ammo to those who want it albeit in limited quantity but....
