Go, Newsome. Keep talking. You want those tasty, sweet electoral college votes from all across the country when you go for replacing the POTATUS? The more than half the states that now sport Constitutional Carry aren't going to somehow turn into a 37 states ratifying a gutting of the 2A to suit your political ambitions. But California's sure going to try. After all, that state's standards on everything from vehicle features to labels on toothpaste have a way of oozing out into all the other states on a regular basis. I'll take this as good evergreen fodder for counter-Newsome campaign ads pretty much forever:

A Constitution Convention is the progressive's wet dream.

The progressives would eliminate any impediment to the complete takeover of the United States of America. All because "We the People" do not know what is good for us and we need to be saved from ourselves.

Recall that delegates assembled in Philadelphia in May, 1787 for the express purpose of only amending the Articles of Confederation, and look what happened instead.
