Hi Everyone,
I hope you're all doing well. It's been a while. I'm seeking some knowledge from those of you well versed in roller delayed guns. I have a Century C93 that has some wobble where the backplate meets the receiver with the takedown pin being the fulcrum. It moves about an 1/8 of an inch, maybe a bit more. I have to induce this so I'm not concerned with accuracy. My concern is that perhaps beating the bolt carrier against it, or something might be taking unnecessary wear and tear. I'm using an Hk 93 backplate, with a wood G3 stock. No problem with the backplate-wood stock fitment, just the backplate to the receiver. I've been lucky with this C93, and this is the only "issue" I've run into with fitment or really anything. I will post pictures when I get home, probably video too.
I mainly want to know if I'm causing damage, and if there is a way I can shim it to stop the wobble.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
