Buying a gun from an individual out of state

Can someone who is very familiar with the laws PM me? I'd rather not make a thread of it. Nothing illegal I assure you.

The law is pretty basic, if a long gun isn't being sold by an out of state FFL, it has to go through an FFL. Any handgun or 'assault' rifle has to go through MD FFL for the background check. You can not face to face across state lines (fed law)

Thanks. I'm aware of that and am not trying to sidestep those requirements.

Someone can ship or bring a firearm to your FFL for transfer to you.
