All I can say is WOW. I don't know if they are worth what he is asking or not, but those are NICE!

I don't see any bargains in that lot, but most seem to be worth the asking price if you are looking for a piece for your collection.

It just keeps getting harder for me to keep up with the price escalation on Finn Mosins. Bound to happen considering just how long I've been doing this. Still remember Lou selling excellent M39s for $125 back in the day. Even factoring inflation those were excellent prices.

I ordered the 1941 rifle (if someone else didn't already order it) with the early straight stock for $319. An M39 has been on my list since I started collecting so I decided to grab one. I've actually never seen one below $400 at shows or in shops.

Great minds think alike. I've been waiting for just the right '41 straight stock Sako to cross my path. Hasn't happened yet. Congrats to you for snagging yours!

More to the point, Lou, what are you running out now? Prices on all firearms are fluid, and what some might see as a bit steep now, might seem like a genuine bargain in 2-3 years (or less!).

I have gotten a few Pat Burns rifles and only the 91/30 was a bit rough. The M39s looked great.

I believe there is one of those in the Classifieds at this moment - http://www.mdshooters.com/vbclassified.php?do=ad&id=16224. If I had the $'s, I would pursue it myself.
