I doubt many people are dumping match grade ammo through their Tavors. And, honestly, I take pretty much all reports about groupings with a huge grain of salt. Unless you're doing it from a mechanical rest with 5-10rds for the group, and shooting multiple groups and monitoring POI, I'm not sure it proves very much.I m just concerned about initial accuracy reports of 1.5-2.5 inches with optics and good ammo. For an AKM or mini 14 that's okay, for a 2.2 K gun.
Is it better than the AUG?

That is to say, on the Internet, everyone's rifle seem to shoot 1MOA with average ammo. That could not possibly be true in real life.
While this pic is not on topic, it must completely boggle your mind.
.
That's probably the same one I saw there a couple of weeks ago. They sure are proud of their prices!I just had my hands on a Tavor SAR at gunrack and I must admit I am in love...........not $2800 in love (but it is there if anyone wants one real bad) but in love.
Just get it before October 1st and you're good right?
According to the IWI US website, the 18" Tavor is only ~27.5" OAL.
My understanding is that the 18" wont be regulated but the 16" will due to its OWL. Weird world.
Not sure if I want to pop for the $700 difference over 2 inches.
