lol, lets ask people how many AR's they have... I am not a 1 rifle 1 handgun kind of guy. Every gun is different and has it's own strengths and weaknesses, the more the merrier in my book! :party29:

Man I really want an RFB bad! Anyone know the accuracy, the reliability, and the trigger quality on them? Also has KT started actually producing a descent number of them?

Also I'll provide more info on the M17s after mods once I actually hit the range with it.

I am still waiting on my Tavor to ship out to my dealer. The suspense is killing me.

Is it better than the AUG?

I m just concerned about initial accuracy reports of 1.5-2.5 inches with optics and good ammo. For an AKM or mini 14 that's okay, for a 2.2 K gun.

There is a video of the tavor and AUG side by side on youtube. Can't knock the tavor as I have never shot one personally I just like the look of the AUG over the Tavor. Too each their own.

I doubt many people are dumping match grade ammo through their Tavors. And, honestly, I take pretty much all reports about groupings with a huge grain of salt. Unless you're doing it from a mechanical rest with 5-10rds for the group, and shooting multiple groups and monitoring POI, I'm not sure it proves very much.

That is to say, on the Internet, everyone's rifle seem to shoot 1MOA with average ammo. That could not possibly be true in real life.

Just different. Butt heavier- as there are more metal there. Safety switch is very much like AR- instead of crossbolt. I use Aimpoint Micro w/ same height as AR w/ good success. Bolt release is huge- really like it. Drop free mag release. Looked at Video, seems like shooting from left shoulder is doable- just have to bring your cheek back further. Polymer body is made of heavier duty material.

I'm in it for the science. As soon as mine shows up , I'll do an unbiased range report and put it side by side with a Colt, AUG, Valmet and AK 86S.

If it is capable of hitting ping pong balls as targets at 100 yards consistently, then it passes muster. If my 1022 outshoots it, I'll be pissed. LOL

Yeah if any rifle I bought(other than an AK) could be out shot by a .22 I'd feel like it was money wasted.

I just had my hands on a Tavor SAR at gunrack and I must admit I am in love...........not $2800 in love (but it is there if anyone wants one real bad) but in love.

Shame the 16" isnt going to pass the OWL test in SB281

That's probably the same one I saw there a couple of weeks ago. They sure are proud of their prices!

My understanding is that the 18" wont be regulated but the 16" will due to its OWL. Weird world.

Not sure if I want to pop for the $700 difference over 2 inches.

I thought that it would meet the two feature rule and be a banned assault weapon.
