    Hello All!
I will probably be ridiculed for asking this but I am looking for an over under in the $400-$500 range for the occasional clay birds on the farm and 1 or 2 rabbit/squirrel hunts a year. I've looked into the Stoeger Condor but was curious if anyone had any experience with Turkish made over unders. I'm looking for first hand experience not "I've read" answers.

If anyone has a used over under in my price range I'd be open to a deal!

    Thanks all,
    JOMA

I have a cheap Kahn O/U that I have used as a loaner gun for guests shooting sporting clays. Has a couple thousand rounds thru it over the years. Works and shoots ok. It is no B gun. Stoeger would probably be ok for your purposes

CZ has some of their shotguns made in Turkey. They're pretty decent. The Drake or All Terrain aren't too far out of your price range.

IIRC, the Turk CZs are made by Huglu. They're good guns.

OP, in my experience, Turkish shotguns can be pretty decent, especially for the price.
I have a TriStar Raptor that I picked up from Walmart for under $300 a few years back. I use it as my duck/goose gun because it's made to handle modern steel shot with ease, and I don't care too much if it sinks to the bottom of the Monocacy or the non-tidal Potomac should I happen to capsize my canoe while hunting. I also use it as my loaner gun for pheasant hunts and sporting clays for my friends who haven't yet bought a shotgun. It's a Beretta pattern gas system and uses Beretta/Benelli Mobil-style choke tubes which are easy to get ahold of. That thing has put down many birds and busted MANY clays without a single malfunction.

I had the same thought as you. An O/U for not a lot of scratch is tempting. So, with the success of the Raptor in mind, I picked up a TriStar Upland Hunter from Walmart yesterday. $400 got me a 12ga O/U with Turkish Walnut furniture, 5 choke tubes (extended), a tube box, and wrench, and a selectable trigger (you can choose which barrel fires first). So it seems at the moment to be a pretty solid gun for the money.

It's stiff, but serviceable, and will loosen up over time. You can see pictures here: https://www.mdshooters.com/threads/shotgun-porn.30898/post-7005900

I plan to take it out to the range this Saturday and see how it does. I expect good things from the reviews I've seen.
