    My thoughts to CBS:

    Re: Bob Schieffer

Bob Schieffer calling the NRA "Nazis" is un-called for and an insult to these Americans that truly believe in the Constitution of the United States, and our hard-fought Freedoms.
Only because of the 2nd Amendment, does CBS and Bob Schieffer enjoy their 1st Amendment Rights - Freedom of Speach!
The 2A is NOT about hunting or being a sportsman.
CBS/CBS News and Bob Schieffer should know and see this.

When are any of you going to recognize this???
When your 1st Amenement Rights are taken away!?!?!?!
I am not a Nazi. I am the NRA and I vote.
CBS/CBS News and Bob Schieffer can stay in 'lock step' with Barack Hussein Obama and the rest of the Socialist/Marxist regime that occupies the Executive Branch of government.

I will no longer watch CBS or CBS News, nor will I buy from any advertisers of CBS News.
I will be urging friends, family and co-workers to do the same.

I heard Bob yammering on like a doddering old fool about Nazi's, the NRA, winning WW2, and somehow relating our success at helping to rid the world of Nazi Germany with being able to defeat the NRA.

THIS guy is considered an elder statesman of the news media. His leftist vitriol is so glaringly obvious with respect to this issue that Dan Rather must be bashing his head against the wall wondering how HE lost his job for merely peddling blatantly false National Guard papers regarding GW Bush 2 weeks prior to the elections of 2004.

The MSM has become so emboldened since Obama won re-election that they don't even hide their bias anymore. The irony is that MOST people seem to have bought into this pablum and it pisses me off royally. I haven't been the same since the day after the election...

This next four years is going to be a heck of a ride in terms of the 2A as well as everything else. Momentum is without question on gun grabbers side.

Interesting that he was there for so much of the history he discusses but misses the point entirely, equating the dismantling of 2A with winning the war with the Nazis.

So quick question: What would have happened if we did not have 2A during WWII?

Answer: There would not have been a 'rifle behind every blade of grass' and we would have been fighting a land war on our own western soil. What would that have done to the war effort and resources sent to Europe? The word Normandy would be replaced in our lexicon by whatever beachhead the Japanese decided to take first, assuming we would even have been able to win a home-turf land war AND a war in Europe.

The inability to put simple facts together and see the wisdom and inspiration of the founding fathers is profound.

What that tool bag didn't mention is that it was Eisenhower that wanted the Civil Rights act, but it was Johnson who held it up in the Senate (by not allowing it through with the teeth of the 3rd section). All of a sudden, when Johnson is pres, it comes through with the teeth of the 3rd section and he signs it.

    Details matter ;)

Isn't it funny that the collectivist "news reporter" that advocates disarming the legitimate, following his hero Hitler, dares to refer to us as Nazis? What a tool.Sadly there are those in the former United States that hear that drivel, and sagely shake their heads in agreement. While I personally am getting really tired of hearing this crap on a daily basis, it is good that the tyrant class is showing their true colors.

"I think he has suffered numerous blows to head while working under Dan Rather's desk." Good one, lol.

Sent the below and other stuff to CBS.

Murder total, rifles compared to hands, feet and fist

FROM THE FBI Uniform Crime Reports

    MARYLAND:

MURDER USING: RIFLES / HANDS, FEET and FIST
    2011 2 17
    2010 3 19
    2009 2 18
    2008 4 28
    2007 9 23
    2006 5 25
    2005 4 18
    2004 2 30
    Total 31 178

SOURCE: FBI UNIFORM CRIME REPORTS: TABLE 20

    http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/ucr

IN MD FROM 2004 THROUGH 2011 HANDS, FEET AND FISTS WERE USED 5 TIMES MORE FREQUENTLY TO COMMIT MURDER THAN WERE RIFLES. GIVEN A VALID NUMERICAL BASE, THE RATIO WOULD PROBABLY BE SIMILAR IN ALL STATES AND LIKELY HAS BEEN SINCE COLONIAL TIMES.

THE SIMPLE, BUT APPARENTLY UNACCEPTABLE, METHOD OF DRAMATICALLY REDUCING THE NUMBER OF MURDERS COMMITTED BY THOSE WHO USE FIREARMS IS DRUG LEGALIZATION.
