 Should come with a mandatory warning statement ~ has a propensity to result in burning holes in pocket and raising CC balances.

Well, there is always a catch.

Jamie called me yesterday around noon and I picked up my receiver set. She stayed in town, instead of going to visit family, because she wanted to get the firearms to their customers. She said she was surprised how fast word has spread about the policy change.:innocent0

I was in yesterday as well to pick up a few things, she told me the same thing. I also talked to Dave and he said part of the reason he started doing the 8th Day release is that a lot of his distributors bill on NET30 and he has been paying the difference out of pocket so he is 60 days plus out of pocket. I have never actually bought a gun from them, just a bunch of transfers but does this mean they don't actually pay or have your card charged until you pick up? Or maybe he just doesn't use the money from a sale incase it doesnt go through to pay distributors until it is released.

My dad and I picked up Saturday. Dave and Jamie weren't in Friday and the girl I spoke with said she was new and had no idea what was going on with the guns. She passes me off to another guy and he said our names weren't on the list and to call back Sat. Called back Sat and Jamie said yes, please come get these off my counter. Lol. So, away we went. Now in possession of new Remington R1 Enhanced threaded and P22 each.

Awesome news! My DC letter should be in any day now!

They're currently holding my FNX45 tactical. Having that thing sit in purgatory is the epitome of unfair.

They used do half down and remainder at PU (pretty sure that policy has changed). In light of the exponentially increasing times for ND's, it has to be a big financial strain on small shops. Then there's the horse manure from the new regs that appears will put all shops in limbo on 10/1/13, until some government lackey gets around to figuring out what a HQL is, then (through their expertise at efficiency ~ works real well with the ND's) how to issue it. This looks like it will become the proverbial perfect storm that could cripple many of our smaller FFLs. Time to throw some more business their way .....
