A Robinson M96 Expeditionary rifle. This is the closest thing to owning a Stoner 63 that I could afford. The magazine pouch is a genuine new old stock original Stoner 63 pouch.
I haven't decided what I am going to do for sights yet. I had this Burris prism sight that I wasn't using for anything else, so I just put that on for now.

I dig it. I had an Aimpoint PRO but it didn't work for me with my astigmatism. Holographic sights tend to work just fine, as does my Aimpoint T2, but the PRO was unusable to my eyes.

I actually have astigmatism as well, but I've somehow gotten used to shooting the PRO, at least in the correct light settings and with the dot brightness at a lower setting. The dot doesn't really look like a "starburst"; it has very slight distortion on the right, and my eyes have learned to compensate. I did buy my Trijicon MRO HD (which is now on my BCM) because it has a much crisper dot than my PRO.

I also need to caveat that I really don't push myself hard with any of my rifles, i.e., I rarely shoot at distances where any distortion of the dot will significantly throw off my aim.

    Is that a pre-2013 purchase?
Yeah, had it since just after they came out. Bought it from shop in Burtonsville(?), Maryland, IIRC. I don’t think that shop’s there anymore though. Last time I did something similar (just before that other big ban) I bought a full Calico 9mm system, multiple magazines, crank loader, etc. I think I got that through Atlantic Guns. I sold that one within the past 18 months on consignment (through Hafer’s WV store). I didn’t want to leave that one with my wife to deal with.

As of now, it‘s my only black rifle. Most of my others are single shot, traditional rifles.

Just out of nowhere, my wife up and bought me a Steyr AUG. She said it was time for me to have an AUG. I am not sure if that means that we just got her or me a new rifle, but I am not caring. It is a welcome addition to the family safe no matter the reason. LOL
I fixed her up with some accessories.

I bet that will rock your world when it shoot it. How long is the barrel? Very cool!
8.5". Definitely one of those guns I didn't think practicality at the time=) let's just say it's obnoxious, puts smiles on faces, but isn't particularly enjoyable. I have seen some guys suppress them but my yhm can isn't rated for a barrel that short

I've been wanting to put together a M16A4 clone for awhile now, and now I finally have. Pretty excited with how it turned out. Something about 20" rifles really speak to me.
