Harrisburg is less than 1/2 of what it was, a 1000+ Table Show.

Yes, the last couple have been somewhat dissapointing, they were only twice as good as anything in MD. However, the York show keeps getting more tables every time it comes around. As far as the shows go,

    Chantilly
    Harrisburg
York (close to taking the #2 spot)
    .
    .
    Timonium
    .
    .
    .
    .
    all other MD shows

I might be heading down to the chantilly show on Friday (gotta work the weekend) its open3-8pm

Hmmm, that's too bad about Harrisburg. Last time I went the show was great, but that was probably a year ago or more.

So York is better than Harrisburg now? When's the next big York show?

    Oct 25th and 26th http://www.gunshows-usa.com/penn.htm

There might not be quite as many tables as Harrisburg, but the ratio of airsoft/beefjerky to actual guns parts and ammo is much better. There are a crapload of small dealers who carry most anything for reasonable prices, last time I saw a NIB Browning BDM, and a couple very nice FN hi-powers and sig 225s going for $300, just didn't have the loot to pick one up. I am not sure if they would let you buy it, and ship it to Gunconnection, or another MD FFL. As an added bonus, the york show is about the only place where you can see some amish guy holding an AK:D

That would be perfect if someone had a picture of that. When they try to ban so called AWs again, put up that picture and say, "see, even the Amish use AK47s to hunt with".

Meant to check out Chantilly last time, but got tied up working on a friends car...I'm going to try and get out there this weekend; looking for a range bag, any 9mm ammo deals, maybe a spare mag for the P6, and one for pops' .32 Llama (I hear they're junk, but still want to fire it). :D

The amish don't appreciate there picture being taken. :nono:

How about from the side or the back?

Williamson said that local residents, being protective of the Amish, gave visiting photographers rules on photographing them: Don't just walk up and start snapping, keep your distance, and try not to be seen to avoid giving offense. Photographers also were told to take pictures of Amish people from the back or the side, Williamson said.
