Best 45 Non 1911

Just my opinion.

I am new to the 1911, but have shot all the polymers before deciding on the 1911 ( cheap one to start with) that my wife got me.

I would reccomdent the

Glock 21 ( mags are reasonably priced, parts are plentiful and its a great gun)
Springfield xd( I think its as good as the glock, little heavier since mags are steel but mags are expensive as hell)
Smith & wesson M&p45 ( probably the best quality of the three, but mags are expensive)

I am a glock guy and would go with it. All three have lifetime warrantys. I dont know if smith & wesson cover a second owner if you buy a used gun.

For all around versatility, HK45c.

Second choice would be an HK45 or P220 depending on if you want a polymer or metal frame.

On the FNP 45 tactical, are th rounds in the magazine loose? On my FNP40 and all the ones I know of the rounds rattle in the magazine?
