saw a mod 1934 Beretta 380 Cal. today for 230.00 seamed like a good price grips looked old but clear with silver back ground thinking the grips are not original so I passed
Did the grips look anything like these ... but maybe without a photo, or something like that, under the plexiglas?
What the hell ... may as well show the other side, too.
very nice links thank youSounds like a variation of "sweetheart" grips (clear plexiglass/lexan).

There are tons of variations of the 1934/35 Beretta, some worth several hundred, some several thousand.
And not a whole lot of literature on them either.
But if the gun is matching, non-import and decent original finish even with the wrong grips that's a good deal.
This collection is mind-boggling (and nowhere near all that he has):

It's a good quick reference if you have your smart phone with you while looking at one.
yes with no pic
Good find! You did well at that price. Flipped the photo for you.
If you want a set of original grips to go with it head over to Evil Pay where there's a seller with 3 different pairs of original grips selling for under $40 on BIN with shipping.
Grips like those were typically made in the field, using scraps of plexiglas from broken aircraft windows, etc. Depending on the condition of the gun, that may have been a good price. That type of grip doesn't detract from the value of the piece like new/reproduction ones do.
I've got this pre war, gives you an idea of what grips you are looking for.
Mds' ers are bad influences went back today thanks to all
You'll thank us one day ... but maybe your wife won't. You did well on that one for the price you stated.
230.00 PLUS UNCLE SAM THANK YOU
