Is anyone familiar with this carbine? I have the chance to pick up a used 9mm version with the top/sides/bottom rail, a vortex strikefire and like 5 20rd mags for $700. I have heard good things about reliability and accuracy. And im starting gathering equipment to reload 9mm. Just lookin for some thoughts... The first time i saw one of these i thought ewwwww but now i see it as a pretty nice package. Is it true its a cash and carry gun in MD?

    Cash and carry yes...
    Fun gun.
I owned one for years and only parted with it for something that fit better in my collection.
I would not hesitate to own another.

I've never been into pistol caliber carbines, but I handled one at a local deal. It seemed like a really good quality gun. I was tempted.

I have one and I got it because it has mags that are interchangeable with by Beretta 92fs.

Fun to shoot. Solid feeling, excellent at 50 yards and pretty accurate even out to 100 yards if I recall correctly.

    Also very easy to clean.

    Where they send me.
    Great rifle.

Read the manual before takedown, some guys break stuff forcing it.

Also, there is a website called sierra papa that has nice aftermarket stuff if you want to mod things any. http://sierrapapacx4.com/
Brownells now also carries some of their stuff.

It's a great rifle for the money in my mind, but I'm a Beretta guy.
