I'm new into air rifles and thought about getting a Benjamin Discovery in .22 cal. Anybody have one? If so how accurate are they?
I find this interesting. I have a .22 MRod and like the gun, but it has been plagued with accuracy problems. Mine shoots pretty well. I had some issues but figured out the scope was crap. I also bought a .25 MRod, amazing accuracy. It is also quite powerful. I will shoot through 3/4" plywood. I bought it for vermin control.
I am thinking about selling the .22, don't need both. Any idea what it is worth? I think new they are around $500. Anyway, great guns.

Got into rim fire a couple of years ago and enjoy it. Thought I'd look into air rifles for something to shoot indoors over the winter. Never realized how complicated and expensive they can get. And delicate. One person says PCP is too loud, another says it is quiet, wherein lies the truth? The only mod I can think I'd want is something to quiet one down. If I go to PCP I've learned I'd have to get a scuba tank as my back won't let me hunch over a pump for 100's of pumps. Guessing an air pump you plug into a car power port won't give enough pressure?

I want something I can shot in my condo in the winter then use to hunt with in the warm weather. I have 30-35" for shooting distance. Condo is all concrete except for front door so exterior sound isn't a big issue. When I had asked on hear a few months ago someone said the PCP was really loud for indoor. Now I know other wise. Would I need ear protection?
