Stand Ye Steady!
Greetings all.
My wife and I are 100% noobs even to the idea of competitive benchrest shooting. So, we started at the top this weekend. The country's best were at the National Benchrest Shooters comp in Thurmont Sat/Sun. Those people can tag the left wing vs right wing of a mosquito at 200yds again and again. Impressive shooting and nice people.
These folks are deep in the trenches of precision shooting and reloading. Some of them even make their own bullet - not cast bullet, but copper jacketed, lead core bullet. Amazing.
My thanks to Eddie "DocEd" Harren for inviting us up.
