The cost of new ammo is way too high. Started reloading again after 20 years or so.

I was shocked at component prices!

Where's the best local places to buy powder. Those hazmat fees are outrageous.

Try T&T Reloading- at most of the larger Md.-Pa. gun shows.

I buy powder from T & T at the York County Gunshow. I buy bullets and primers from Midway USA. They never have primers in stock so you need to click the "remind button" on their website. They will send you an email when the primers come in, but you have to react within minutes. Sometimes you miss it, but I was finally able to get some. If bullets are out of stock, you can usually backorder them. They won't backorder primers - only send you a notice when they arrive and you have to be quick.

Shows are fine but some vendors are taking advantage of shortages. Most of the online stores are in competition so they have to keep prices down so get with your buds and buy in bulk the hazmat charge is per order not item.
