The BCA 47 was the first AR15 I bought. Wasn't that cheap, but, ran fine with the right mags and PPU ammo. It shot very accurate even with cheap ammo, but for Russian steelcase, I would recommend an enhance firing pin. For a cheap 7.62x39 gun, not a bad deal. I mean, that's cheaper than some .22's. I sold my rifle, but I did keep the 7.62x39 upper, and really like it.
I have this rife (didn't get it at that price) and I took it to the SOTAR Armorer 101 class. With the exception of the gas key bolts (which Chad helped me replace), the rife passed all the testing, gauging, & bore scope investigation with flying colors. Overall my rifle is very well made for what I paid for it. Of course, YMMV.
Oh, the trigger sucks, but $87 will get you a LaRue MBT-2S which rocks.
