When I started this thread, I never thought it would morph into something with a life of it's own. I started it in the Central Maryland area as that is where the stores were that I went to.

I have noticed other threads relating to other Walmarts in other sections of the state. Maybe we should have a single thread dedicated to Walmarts. There are quite a few MDS members who travel across the state as I do. If we make a Walmart thread, all you would have to do is search by the location of the Walmart you want to check on. We could also do it by store number but I think most of us refer to them by location name mostly.

    Regards,

    John

I think anyone who wants to know which walmart stores have ammo should subscribe to this thread and frequently view the subscribed thread because ammo won't last long enough for any post other than the most recent to be relevant. Just my opinion.

John, this tread is a great asset and I post frequently in it. Thanks for starting it.

Thanks John, who woulda thunk that we needed this thread! I post whenever I find something and will continue even though some of my online orders are being filled.

Agreed with all the rest John, this is a great thread. In this environment, thank God for Wal-Mart.

    Shipping cost a little steep...

Remember this is a availability thread.

By the time you or me spend driving around looking the shipping is no more than the gas used looking or trying to get the ammo. Might be too costly for some but if you want to play you gotta pay.

Things are not going to get back to normal for about 9-12 months so either you get it where when you can, or continue to drive and hope you get there in time.

Last night I drove out to westminster for dinner and went by both dicks and walmart, and they were both picked clean.

I could easily burn 1/4 tank of gas in my truck driving around to all the nearby WalMarts/Dicks/BPS, etc and wast 3 hours of time. Considering that, $20 shipping isn't so bad. And I can shop at home nekkid.

Thats the other part, people don't put a value on their time! You are commiting x amount of hours trying to sang some ammo, there is a cost to that too. And like TonyB said, you can shop nekkid and drink a beer at the same time!!

And -- unless the online place has a presence in the Peoples Republic of Maryland (like BassPro does) -- there is no sales tax
