How's everyone been doing so far this year? I haven't been able to get out as much as id like to this year. so far my best has only been a little 3lber

I've been catching 3-5 pounders all weekend down in Indian head

Ive caught 2 19"ers and a 21.5 inch bass this year...my best year so far. The rest have been smaller 4-12 inch bass

The Upper Potomac sucks from all this heavy rains this spring and early summer! The water is starting to come back to normal finally, but the fish just are not biting the same. Lots of small ones too.

Took my buddy out kayak fishing on the Potomac near the airport.....

One minute he was complaining about the spinner bait hook being "too big" and he was never gonna catch anything......

The next minute he had a 5 lb bass.....

Beginners luck.

Went tubing/fishing on the South Fork Shenandoah near Stanley, Va and a few weeks ago. It was terrible, only caught 12 over 3 days, that's normally a bad day there. All tiny Smallmouth, biggest might have been 8 inch and a few sunfish. It didn't matter what I used either, fishing just sucked. But tubing was fun and it's still better than work. Was slow in Early June when I went as well, maybe it's just a bad year.

Been a pretty good year so far, bunch of dinks with a few 3lbers and 4lbers interspersed in between and this big momma. Scale was broken but based on her girth and size I'm saying 6+ cause I am 6'2 and 225 and this baby was bigger than my shoulders.

Fished a small pond on the patuxent wildlife refuge, I stopped counting after 20 fish, lots of dinks, but got a 3 pounder, my buddy got one that was probably pushing 6.

me and a buddy went down to mattawoman from 5-9 yesterday on my kayaks and only got one cat on a spinnerbait. I was hoping for a little more action than that but I guess it was just another one of those days

I've been doing well this year. This 4 pounder was caught yesterday along with another the same size and many smaller ones. Bud that was with me caught two 4 pounders as well.

I've been so busy this year, I haven't been out fishing at all this year. I thought things were supposed to slow down when you get older. I don't know how I coached all the sports I did and still had time to get things done. I'm running around like never before and still can't seem to catch up.

Ive caught a 6, 3-5lb'rs in my life...3 of which I caught this year! I missed a nice 2-3lb bass last week.
