So it looks like my only option for getting a threaded barrel for my Springfield XD service is to buy this.

Since options are Semi Fit or Match I’d rather not ship my pistol around and go into it after shipping for more than the gun is probably worth.

Anyone have a chance recommendation of Carroll County gunsmiths that would do the matching?

I think Duffy’s Gun Room is probably closest to me, but wanted if there any other recommendations?

Not in carroll county but walt frear is in frederick county. He's a well established smith with a solid rep. Never used him personally but I know several who do, including two 01 FFLs, for their personal gun work.

I believe Storm Lake makes one too.

The BarSto semi-fit should drop right in.

Storm lakes are discontinued and out of stock everywhere.

Was thinking the semi should work but days might need light adjusting. And I’m not sure I want to possible jack it up.

I am just going off my experience with BarSto.

If it fits in the slide (it will be tighter than stock) then it should work just fine.
