We need background checks for crack cocaine and heroin.

Once they eliminate illegal drugs, they can easily keep the guns away from the bad guys.

Then Hurray for puppies and kittens and butterflies!

Seems to me that the Libtards in Calexico tried that scheme and discovered:
    1. It couldn't be implemented, and
    2. It was impossible to enforce.

Or did I get it wrong?

From the looks of the photos in the Baltimore confiscated Firearms thread, I would say criminals are not buying new ammo. All the ammo looks 30 years old.

People were bringing it in from out of state. A national law would probably work. Reloading would circumvent it until the law was amended to include components. Don't be surprised if/when this passes there is also a severe limit on how many rounds you can buy per month/year. one commie state (don't remember which one) proposed a bill last year to limit purchases to 20 rounds per month. It didn't pass.....yet...

This is very common in Europe and I was told a reason why .22 caliber pistols are so popular in France. You can buy 1,000 rounds a year for one of those while you are only allowed (after all the licensing, etc.) to buy like one box for a centerfire pistol.

To add to your statement, in Europe even reloading components and reloading are strictly regulated so that a person has a finite cap on how much ammunition they can have at any single time. It is mostly extremely expensive compared to the US to own and shoot firearms in Europe (as well as a hassle).
