I've got one of the earlier GSG-1911s, and a couple of months ago the firing pin broke. I called ATI, they checked their records, and said the gun was out of warranty but they'd send a repair return package with a prepaid Fedex mailing label. I could send it in, they'd notify me when it was received, and after they looked at it they'd call and tell me how much it would be to replace the firing pin. They said they'd also check it over and recommend anything else they thought needed fixing, if I wanted to have it done.
The return package came in the mail and I boxed up the gun and sent it in, along with a note asking them to see if there was anything they could do to clean up the little bit of creep in the otherwise good trigger. A week or so later I got an acknowledgement in the mail.
I heard no more for 3-4 weeks, and was thinking about calling. But when I got home today, there was a parcel from ATI, with an invoice for the new firing pin, plus a new firing pin washer, new recoil pad, new recoil spring, and new guide rod. Plus, they took the last trace of creep out of the trigger. Grand total: $0.00.
Needless to say, I'm satisfied with ATI's customer service.
