The Arsenal strike 1 pistol is the new Russian Army service pistol that is replacing the makarov.

    It should be available soon.

Im very interested in the new design, especially the ultra low bore axis and its locking system.

I hope that IPs carry them soon. This may be my first purchase post SB281 and the HQL requirements.

The bore axis on this pistol is the lowest Ive seen on a semi auto pistol. must be nice to shoot.

I would get one too if it makes it into the MD roster.

The bore axis and locking really piqued my interest.

I just don't see myself going thru all the post Oct. 1st BS, even if I'm on the books.

Good luck getting one if they don't come with 10-round magazines. If they're cheap enough, I might snag one, my only concern is magazines and holsters.

It looks like someone took an XDS and put a cut down Glock slide on it.
Those "Ruskies" what will they think of next!

The bore axis on this pistol is about 1/3 of other popular pistols. It is about 10mm. While the SIG, Beretta, XD is in excess of 30mm.

A high grip and low bore axis should result in less muzzle flip, faster follow up shots. From what I have read, it is also available in an aluminum frame version. I would get one to match one of my AKMs. Its ugly as sin , but technologically different. That makes it interesting.

On their website they say available USA after 2013 shot show.

However, on their global distribution map no USA distributor indicated

    357 SIG:D

    Plus it is Italian-Russian.......exotic

    I had a hunch that'd be your choice. ;)

After owning a 357 SIG, it'd be my choice as well.

That thing would be badass at distance, at least I'd like to think so anyways.
