I've got a batch, haven't had a misfire yet and my Saiga 308 eats it pretty fast.

I had some for my old converted Argentine Mauser. It went with the rifle, then I got another converted Mauser. Don't have any extra you'd wantto sell or trade for regular 7.62x51 would you? SG Ammo had some, but I don'tneed 1000 rds, LOL.

I still have some tarnished Argentine 7.62x51 which I got from Century when they were 10cents a round. Shot fine! Now, I am down to only 500 from 1200 rds.

If it is bright and shiny, it should be ok.. I had some '77 that wasn't and I rejected it because you could wiggle the bullet in the case. The M14forum.com likes it and I haven't had any problems with my '83. There is a post in that forum that someone picked up some '79 in Jan but hasn't posted since. Don't buy loose rounds.
