Quick question I’m going to Ram’s Head Live tonight and I’ve never been there before. Their website states no weapons. Does anyone know if they consider small 2-1/2” folding knives weapons?
This is from their FAQ.
Airports don't allow knives.
Based on this, I'd leave it at home.

So, since pepper spray and teasers/stun guns can now be carried legally in Maryland (correct me if I'm wrong) dos that mean they are OK, since they don't seem to be considered a concealed weapon?

We Were there a few years ago and I just took my usual waking stick. It's a nice stout blackthorn from Ireland, but any cane/walking stick will do. They can't say no because of the Americans With Disability Act, and can't even ask what's wrong with you. All you have to say is "I'm partly disabled and I need a cane." That's it.
I would say you are better off assuming they consider them weapons. I went and saw Lamb of God there a number of years ago. They were confiscating knives and karabiners from peoples keychains. Freaking keychains. I suppose to prevent them being used as projectiles.
Leave it at home or do what I do, hide it somewhere outside without being seen and retrieve it later.
Overthinking things.
Just about every American carries a great improvised weapon with them every day, that's completely overlooked by LE/Security - Keys. Nice jagged (sharp) points, and relatively pointed shape - you have a slashing/stabbing implement on you almost everywhere you go. Or just keep a pen/pencil with you - another great stabby tool that's completely ignored by the majority of the population.
