I scooped up a Claymore as it serves the same purpose without all the Noveske cost. Found mine on eBay.

I believe that is NOT correct...

Sticking a rifle upper on a pistol lower does not make it a rifle, and cannot be transfered.

You can however convert the lower receiver to a rifle lower by changing the buffer tube, and then selling it as a rifle.

what i meant,i just over simplified it.

Not true. You can put a VFG on a pistol so long as the OAL is 26" or greater.

Not true, kinda. With an OAL of 26" or more the ATF no longer considers it a "Pistol". The ATF would classify it as simply a "Firearm". They do this because at that point it no longer meets the definition of a pistol. Nor does it meet the definition of a rifle.

Good call. The Claymore looks cool, shot several rounds today and she's already throwing some fire. :party29:

Has nothing to do with pistol or rifle. It is legal because it cannot fit the definition of AOW since anything over 26" is not considered concealable.
