I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with getting warranty work or replacement done on any regulated AR's, specifically the lower. If they had to replace your lower do they give it the same serial number and ship it right back to you or do they give you a whole new one and then you have to go through the wait all over again. I guess this also leads to what will happen after Oct 1, I would imagine however it works now with regulated will have some baring on how it works. I would think the manufactures could just give the new one the same serial number since they are the creator of said serial number but not sure how that might work with quality control and duplicating serial numbers. I would hope MD doesnt screw people out of the warranties on banned items after Oct 1 but who knows. I have been looking but I have never got any type of confident answer.

According to my understanding that's a no no. ATF won't allow that for class 3 stuff. U would be hard pressed to wear out a AR lower unless its plastic.

This is partially my concern because I have some NFA polys lowers I am waiting to be ND'd and they have the lifetime warranty. I also have a few forged seekins and an 80%'er on the way so I am still covered but I have heard good things about the poly's and they have the lifetime warranty. I was just trying to see how warranty replacement/repair works now for some light on how it may work once Oct 1 hits.
