I like to dry-fire (with a Snap cap) my ARs for practice.

I have a modified AR charging handle I use for this to make cycling the rifle easier...

I left this CH in during a recent range visit and noticed no issues whatsoever.

Any issues with leaving it like this?

    TIA,

    Don

Aside from it popping you in the nose during recoil, I can't think of any off the top of my head.

(I've had that happen with the Beowulf from time to time, the handles catch didn't always hold under recoil with an ambi-handle.)
