So after a little searching I'm still coming up with no luck so I'll go ahead and ask.

When you're installing an AR barrel into the upper receiver is there a recommended lube of choice for the barrel extension and nut threads? I've been able to gather that it needs to be graphite free to avoid corrosion but other than that no real direction.

Would standard Moly wheel bearing grease do the job?

Seems there is a lot of diverse opinion on whether or not you should use anti-seize compounds sold in auto stores (like Permatex for spark plugs and such) that contain graphite. I have used it with no adverse effect. Mostly use Brownells' "Action Lube Plus" now - for convenience. I suspect any moly grease should be fine.
