I find it interesting how we never hear about most of these polls until after the fact. Anyone ever been contacted or know of these polls before the results are given out by the biased news agencies?

I find it very predictable. MSNBC has got to be the worst right now.

What these idiots fail to understand is that they can't write the Second Amendment out of the Constitution.

What many don't understand is that the Constitution was ratified on the basis of having the Bill of Rights be part of the Constitution. If you were to repeal the second amendment, you'd have to repeal the whole Constitution.

And besides - what problem are we trying to "solve"? If it's gun violence, a universal ban of semi-auto rifles does not address handgun violence that is localized to 5 metro areas.

We do refute it, in testimony, in press interviews... the emotional argument gets the press, the facts no longer matter. I, for one, will continue to present the facts and attempt to refute the emotion, until I am blue in the face.

I agree, but our side never gets the press. I'd almost bet that if there were ever a pro/anti 2A debate, the MSM would only report on what the anti's responses were.

That's the real problem.

”Assault weapons” is like porn. We know it when we see it”.

Figger this’n here out. How’s come an MG gits called an “assault RIFLE”, while the semi auto only version of the same tool that only shoots ONE round atta time is an “assault WEAPON”?

True, rifles are responsible for, IIRC, about 3-4% of all gun violence. Handguns are responsible for over 90%. You're more likely to be stabbed than shot with a rifle according to FBI statistics.
