I wouldn’t bother with a trust if you’re just doing a single sbr.

To SBR an Ar lower you fill out and submit and eForm 1 online. You’ll have to send them finger prints. Takes them maybe a month to process. It’s really easy. If you use a service for finger prints it’s about $20. Have to engrave your name and city/state on lower.

12” on an AR with a standard carbine stock is about as short as you can go and meet the 29” Maryland length thing. 14.5” is a nice barrel length that’s easy to find. Could also take a 16” barrel and take just enough off the end to be <16”.

    I can't read Atblis's mind on this one .

But if 100 knowledgeable people spoke that to you , the majority would be of being facetious , to illiustrate Maryland's absurdity .

Both, pointing out the absurdity but also that it’s perfectly legal. Wouldn’t do 15.999999”, but rather 15.9”. Same applies for a 7.62x39 AK. Want one? Make a 15.9” SBR.

    Welcome sir

Can't buy or sell a magazine over 10 rounds in Maryland, but you can go out of state, buy a 100 round drum, and legally bring it back with you to Maryland

Maryland hates guns, and law abiding citizens

Perhaps go to the Introductions forum, and post up, so we can know you better

It's nice I live in Bethesda, so close to VA
