You should sign up for USPS Informed delivery. It’s free and every morning it will show you what will be arriving in the mailbox that day. At least you will know in the morning and not sit around waiting for the mail carrier and wondering. Then you can get on with your day.

That’s a good idea…. Although honestly if I really wanted to I could just ask my mail carrier to let me know. He is a really nice guy and I am sure he would be willing.

Ok, this is killing me! My accepted date was 12/15/2022 NICS was 1/11/2023. Still no approval yet!!! I know be patient, damn I'm trying...

Finally, approval today! Awakened this morning to an approval email. It came in at 7:12am. I was at day 50 from application acceptance. Now to get PA permit when I get card in hand. Florida/Utah permit should be approved by months end.

I don’t think there is anyplace you can check to see if it was mailed. I meant that it was postmarked on the envelope showing what date ot was mailed on. For me it was the day after approval. You can sign up for Informed Delivery with the USPS and they will email you a photo of the mail that you are going to get and photos of mail that shows what has been already delivered to you. Keeps you from waiting for the mailman.

My permit expires next month and pre-Bruen it took MSP a little under 30 days so I would always apply the last week of February. Quite frankly I was a little concerned that with the volume of all you noobs that it might take a little longer so I submitted Thursday evening of this week.

Just got the approval email less than 48 hours later.

When I renewed in 2020 I was permit #0003X, this time it's 14XXX.
