Feels like it has slowed down quite a bit. Last week 8/24 accepted were having NICS checks done and my 8/26 acceptance has no NICS. I was doing well patiently waiting, but it seems to be slowing down now which is frustrating.

It is getting strange. Wife and I submitted on 8/21. She was accepted 8/22 and I on 8/26. No NICS for either one of us at this time.

Looking at the data it is encouraging to see that over about the last 3 weeks only 3 to 4 days have been added to the final approval process and it has stayed right at 60 days from acceptance to approval. Hang in there everyone!!

so 8/24 are last to receive NICS I assume that's why you end the chart there?

I’m an 8/26 acceptance too and was optimistic when I saw NICS for 8/24 last week. Nothing yet, but maybe 8/24 just had a huge number of acceptances in the middle of the week?

Rest assured you'll have at least 55 days until you get NICS.

They are definitely not going solely on acceptance dates. Wife was accepted 8/22 and no NICS as of this AM. We both submitted 8/21. Still can't figure our difference in acceptances I was accepted 8/26.

Don't try. There is no rime or reason. They get to it when they get to it.

Yes since NICS is the next indication that your application is starting to move I end the chart there to keep it easier to follow. So unless you have also included a date for NICS while it is in the master spreadsheet I just choose not to repost it to keep things a bit cleaner as the only usable info it could provide is an indication of volume of applications waiting in the que.

I'm 9/5 acceptance date so my info is not listed yet either, fingers crossed maybe see some movement by Halloween!
