but it does. it servers two purposes. One, it shows that *something* is happening. That both makes the wait easier and harder. two, odds are great you'll get approved or denied within 30 days of NICS, if only because they'd have to redo the nics after 30 days. flimsy reasoning, to be sure, but no less comforting for that.

I got approved 46 days after NICS and they didn't redo it.

Same here. Got my NICS on 8/13. Still not approved or redone.

Nothing since.

I'm guessing I will have my permit sometime in the latter half of October.

Trying to look back for myself to figure out what dates MSP is working on, and you have to dig through hip shot posts instead of users actually looking back in the thread.

Anyone have an 8/8 acceptance get their NICS yet? I got the letter but no app movement.

I'm a 8/8 acceptance. On 9/16 I got a nics number on my application. Never got a letter.
