Since I'm still waiting for approval (ACC 7/19 so I'm close) I took a look at the prohibited places on the MSP website and I saw item #6.

6. On dredge boats, other than two 10 gauge shotguns (NR 4-1013)

Have you ever fired a 10 gauge shotgun? Assuming you can find ammo for it. That sucker will jump up and down on you.

It depends on whether the spike is getting bigger or leveling out. There is a backlog of classes so as they complete there will be smaller spikes.

Several, 7/18, people here with a NICS date later than mine were approved before me.

Wow! Congratulations!! MSP approving on sundays? I wonder if they did any approvals yesterday, weekend approvals would help them get over the “hump”.
