Average NICS to approval time for approvals reported from 8/8 through 8/11 (i.e. this week so far) is 10 days. This is trailing data for folks that received approvals. In process apps will likely continue the upward trend due to the volume that they are working through.

7/26 accepted & nics done same day. I submitted on 7/10 said my prints wasnt in system on 7/13 received email 7/18 that prints was there.

Accepted date seems to be what they are prioritizing approvals by for the most part. All of the approvals over the last few days have been 7/15 and 7/16 accepted dates. I have a 7/20 accepted and 8/8 NICS. A test of this will be if you get approval before I do.

The dates seem all over the place. I saw someone in the reddit thread who had a 7/22 acceptance date and a 8/4 NICS get approved on 8/10.

Averages are averages. There will be data points to the left and right of the distribution.

Did training this weekend and fingerprinted, completed application and paid today 7/18/22

My application number is 22HGP0282XX
I started it on 7/6/22 (when it was given a number)
I submitted the complete application on 7/18/22
I received the auto generated "Your Application Has Been Submitted For Review" email 7/18/22
I received the application accepted notification 7/23/22
NICS number assigned 8/12/22

Finally got my NICS # this morning.
Just a lil recap took 5 days from submitted to accepted and 20 days for NICS#
