Applied for my HQL this afternoon, are they still turning those around pretty quickly?

I just received my HQL a week ago. Purchased a handgun the same day and brought it home yesterday. From start to finish, it took 18 days total to receive my HQL. I’m still waiting on my wear and carry permit - application accepted on 9/20/22.

The date next to the blank NICS number used to be the accepted date. It changed to today's date once it had a NICS number.

I’m 9/1. I was hoping that I would see some significant movement before the weekend but I guess next week it is. It’s great to see all these approvals.

Watching the state "not disapprove" one by one of citizens exercising their God given inalienable right to defend their life has become a surprisingly enjoyable part of my day as well. It simultaneously feels good and sad/frustrating.

No more cards. I just took a photo and keep it on my phone. That’s been enough for my local gun shop. Really all they need is your HQL number to process your 77R.
