Anyone using a Trijicon Accupoint scope?

What do you use it on and how do you like it?

Thinking about putting the TR-20 3-9x40 Mil-Dot on a Savage 220F.

Have a TR20G A-POINT 3-9x40 BAC Grn on my AR - love it. Good stuff.

That's what I thinking.

Good low light performance, mil-dot reticle for ranging & holdovers on a [presumably] accurate bolt action 20 ga shotgun = kick ass hunting rig.

Gotta admit, I really like the Aimpoint... but around the same price for LE/MIL is the Horus HDMR. I would rate the glass about equal but a slight advantage to the Horus for the 3-21x optics, H58 reticle and 34mm tube. The Aimpoint enjoys the advantage in low light for the illuminated reticle. Glass is very comparable.

I have a TR23-1G on my .308 AR with an 18" barrel and a TR20G on my .223 AR with an 18" barrel. I think these are both really good scopes.

Actually I stopped by there Saturday and checked it out. I wanted to compare it to the Nikon 2.5-10 Monarch. Both were nice scopes, but the Trijicon has the nod. Its smaller, lighter and I think the mil-dot reticle with the illuminated center dot will be great for hunting.
