Those pics look like charger pistols. Is that an illusion?
I have one. It is a little wiggly but it sure makes the rifle compact.
Pretty comfortable to shoot as well.
I picked mine up used to $60, so I definately feel it was worth it.
If you are planning to cut it to run on your Charger SBR, how would you seat/attach the barrel in the Butler Creek?
I believe they are designed for use with the metal strap on a 10/22 barrel.
If that wasn't your plan, what are you using for a handguard/forend to attach a charger barrel?
Last note, have you considered a Rhineland -

I am working on a similar project so I am excited to see what works for you.

Question on legality, I know with MD's new laws, the feature restriction doesn't apply to rimfires, does that include overall length? Or does it matter as it is measured with stock in nominal firing position even if you can shoot with the stock folded? Just wondering since I'd think with a folding stock you'd be down to something like 26-28" with it folded which is under the 29" minimum. And worse if you have a 16" barrel on there.
My father in law has one on a 1022. It rattles, bends, and generally feels cheap... but it works every time, and makes a small rifle for transport. I'd buy one for that reason.
