Any know holiday sales comming up? I am robbing a. Swfa 10x from a rifle to get some testing done on my mew to me r700 24" 5r 308.

Seems there's a few new contenders on the block nowadays, but if someone had 700 bucks or less at the moment but would wait for sales, also qualified for military discount. Use of the rifle will be 100 to 600 yards, possible to get out to 1000 yards. Some bean field shooting of deer and varmint but weight is not of any concerns.

I've been thinking see what black friday swfa and primary arms sales happen. Ive looked at a few discounted NF nhv models, along with burris xtr 3 and leupold vx5 stuff. Anything else I should look at or for? My needs at least top end power of 16x illuminate radical would be nice but not a deal breaker. Simpler retical is nice, dialing is cool but I like simple. KISS mentality goes far with me.
Any thoughts ideas or options left out.

There's like three or four models under 700 bucks that fit those wickets not including sales.

And the shv with mil discount is pretty close to the $700 mark.

Plus there's been some marked down trijicon models in the $500 range.

It seems like you don't have any real input and just want to piss in my cheerios.

I'm a Vortex fan, The Viper PST Gen 2 might be found for about $700 it's 3-15X. Check out their Venom line too. Lots of features, great warranty, and great quality.

With a military discount it's going to be hard to beat a viper pst gen 2 or trijicon credo. Both are about the same price.

I've been looking at their sales hard the last two days. I'm about 90% sure they will fit my needs for this, and may pre order that lightweight hunter for my 300wsm.

It is a very good scope for the money. I have two of them and they are friggin sweet!

I have two Arkens - an SH4 6-24x50 and an EP5 5-25x56. The SH4 had Chinese glass and the EP5 has Japanese glass. Both are solid, but the EP5 is clearer and brighter. I have no regrets with either of mine.

I am looking at an Arken 6X24 my .243 AR10 build, they look like a good scope for the price.

Are you only considering new glass? IMO, used is the way to go on value-for-money.
