Was wondering if anybody has any idea about how many hunting permits were issued in the state or Maryland last year or where i could locate the information as i have come up blank. It is for a school project of sorts and any help from the forum would be greatly appreciated!

Couldn't find the # of licenses sold, but according to the DNR they sold a little over $3,000,000 worth of resident licenses last year.
You may be able to go to the website and send them a message asking for the #

A license is what you pay the State for to allow you to hunt legally.

They are not interchangeable and in most cases you'll need both...
