My mother's internist is absolutely fantastic. I just don't know if his practice is taking on more patients. You could give him a try - his name is Hiren Shah. Confusingly, he's partners with a guy named Hemen Shah, no relation. Their office is on TJ Drive, like most of the docs in Frederick. They've both taken care of my mom for years, and have gone above and beyond. He's responsive and concerned, always returns my calls, and calls me on his own when he thinks there's something I should know. I started out in health care over 30 years ago, and he's one of the best I've seen.
