I just got off the phone with MSP. I'm in the group of applicants whose background check and investigation is complete. I would have received my permit at the expiration of Judge Legg's stay. I was told that MSP does not want to issue these permits only to have to revoke them, that wouldn't be right. They don't want to outright deny the apps because that wouldn't be right either. Those apps are on hold pending further guidance.

I have been very vocal about keeping my app alive. I myself have made several phone calls to MSP to ensure I have word from the horses mouth. Their phone line is recorded so if I am told one thing, and something different happens alteast I can ask to have the recording reviewed. I did this at the risk of pissing them off, but only my app was in jeopardy. My official one man stance is to now be patient and follow the case as it unfolds.
