So, this looks interesting, but why did it have to be Bear Creek Arsenal? Why? I was never really into lever action guns until I inherited one. Pretty neat, and I like the fact this one could take nice, safe, 10 round detachable mags. I doubt any lunatics would even think about putting those dangerous high capacity assault clipazines in these.

Sad to see what CA has done to the firearms industry. All the intelligent people have already fled that mess and the idea of buying ridiculous rifles.

I live it so yes, it's sad and for me personally highly frustrating.
At the same time, it's instructional and inspirational to see the evolving tech behind overcoming the LEG enforced restrictions.
    For example:
CA: nothing over 10 rounds unless fixed mag.
    2A: develops the bullet button.
    CA: bullet button is verboten
    2A: develops alternative feeding devices

CA: pistol grip is verboten as are thumb hole stocks
2A: adds fins and keeps selling

In summary they failed to ban, then tried to ban by feature which is also failing. While recently the SC is taking a look at the 2A.

    I have hope.

I suppose eventually there will be no place left to run to.
I will be fleeing MD in 2 years for free America,
Good luck to you in CA.
