So I've been living in this area most my life and used to have private land available to shoot/camp on. We all know this is everyone's dream scenario but those days are gone, at least for me - and for now.

I can't seem to find the following in a range, so I'm looking for some help from my fellow peers.

    Class III friendly.
    Bring your own ammo.
Be safe, but not micro managed when pulling the trigger more than once every 5 seconds.
Enjoy a friendly environment, without being mugged in the parking lot.
In state, and not driving 3 hours one way from MoCo area.

I'm willing to pay, I understand I'm using someone else's facility/land. But I just want to go and shoot. Not save the planet/attend meetings/cut grass/etc...

Is this all really too much to ask?

Again any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I know the state really sucks. If it wasn't for work, and the shit real estate prices (I can't sell my current home, don't want to lose money) I'd have moved a long time ago. Only reason I don't want to go out of state is the paper work I have to fill out for the SBR. I've done it before but don't really want to deal with it each year.

Peacemaker National Training Center is what you seek. The drive for me is 1.5 hrs each way, but other than that it is everything you're looking for and more. It's just barely in WV, but you can bring your Class III (with appropriate paperwork) and shoot it at the tactical range as fast as you want. They also have a 1000 yard range. Look it up.

    AGC is a good bet.

If you are looking for Class III you cam get approved by the full auto committee or jsut join the MD TCA club at the AGC.

Great facility and a great bunch of shooters.
